DSQ has evolved a well-defined offshore development project methodology which is executed in a number of identifiable milestones and stages. Highlights of the methodology are as follows -

• Requirements are clearly specified by the customer in a formal 'Business Specifications' document.
• These requirements are clearly understood by the DSQ project team through detailed discussions with the customer, either at the customer site or at DSQ premises.
• Based on the requirements, DSQ prepares a complete specification for software development in India, which is reviewed by customer for approval to proceed further.
• Detailed design specifications is prepared by DSQ.
• Coding and testing of the software is executed at DSQ. The test plan required for various levels of testing such as unit testing, integration testing and system testing, is also prepared by DSQ. The test results are recorded after executing the plan.
• Before delivering the software to the customer, an independent team of testers qualify the software using the acceptance test plan that is prepared by the customer, and the same is reviewed by DSQ.
